Chowli ki sabzi

Ingredients

Chowli - 1/2 cup ..soak overnight or for 6hours
Potato - 2 small diced big
Onion -3 finely cut
Coconut scrapped - 1/2 cup
Garlic pods - 8/9
Tomato - 1 finely chopped
Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1tsp
Oil
Salt to taste

Method

1) Paste
First add a little oil add garlic fry for a while. Then add onions fry till golden brown.  Add coconut , fry till browned. Cool and make a paste of these ingredients.

2) In the same pan add jeera then onion fry till brown.

3) Add tomato and fry till raw smell goes.

4) Add the ground paste and mix well.

5) Pressure cook the chowli and potato.

6) Add the cooked chowli & potato to the gravy.

7) Let the gravy cook well.

8) Put red chilli powder , garam masala and salt.

9) Let it be on flame for a little more while and shut the flame.

10) Serve hot with chapati , paratha aur rice.
