Red Potato sabzi



A simple recipe which is easy to make and delicious to eat. A dish which is probably made in most households in some form or the other. This is one of the versions made in my house.

Ingredients
Potato - 6
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Udit dal - 1 tsp
Hing - 1/4 tsp
Tumeric powder-1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Kadipatta - 2 sprigs

Method
1) Cut the potato in cubes and keep ready.
2) In a pan put oil then mustard seeds. Let it splutter. Then add udit dal , kadipatta and hing.
3) Add potatoes, tumeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix well.
4) Add water and let this cook well.
5) Serve hot once cooked. Can be had with ghee rice or chapati.
