Creamy Aloo mutter

The current prices of onions are sky rocketing . Normally aloo mutter is either made dry or with a gravy of Onion tomatoes..... To avoid onions I replaced with badam and taste was amazingly creamy gravy.

Ingredients

Potatoes - 2 medium boiled and cut in big cubes
Peas - 200gms shelled and boiled.
Tomatoes - 4 medium
Ginger garlic chilli paste - 3 tbsp
Badam/almonds- 10 pieces
Khus khus - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Kitchen king masala - 1tbsp
Salt
Cloves -3/4
Cinnamon - 1"
Badishep/saunf - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp

Method

1) Soak the badam and khuskhus in hot water for 20 minutes.

2) Make a paste of badam, khuskhus, ginger garlic green chillies with tomatoes, turmeric powder, masalas, red chilli powder and salt.

3) In a pan add oil , add cloves, cinnamon and saunf . Then put the paste. Let this fry till the oil starts floating.

4) Put some water and cook well again.

5) Add the potatoes and peas. Mix well. Check salt and masalas. Cook well. Can add water to adjust thickness.

7) Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
