Nendran vazhkkai tholi thoran/ Kela ke chilke / Banana peal thoran / sabzi

Like every South Indian household every part of the banana is used. So when i picked up raw banana to make chips the next recipe that followed had to be thoran from the skin.

Ingredients

Peel - Of 4 bananas (finely chopped)
Lal chawli - 2 tbsp
Coconut scrapped - 2 tbsp

For tadka
Oil - 1 tbsp (preferably coconut oil
Chana dal - 1 tsp
Udit dal - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Dry red chillies - 2
Kadipatta - 5/6 pieces
Hing - 1/2 tsp
Haldi - 1/2 tsp

Method
1) Cut and chop the peel finely and put salt and haldi and little water in a bowl.
2) Put little water in lal chawli in separate bowl and keep
3) Keep both bowls in the pressure cooker and cook well (I put 4 whistles)
4) Take it out from PC and let it cool.
5) In a pan add oil put all tadka items let it fry for some time. Then add the cooked peels and lal chawli.
6) Mix well . Check salt.
7) Lastly add coconut scraps and serve hot with rice.
Perfect combination.

Notes
a) Keep the peels in buttermilk water till you decide to use it. Helps to protect the color.
