Adai (Dal Dosa)



Ingredients

Rice - 3 cups **you can use can useou
Toor dal - 1 cup***
Udit dal - 1 cup****
Dry redInstead o - 7/8
Green chilli - 5/6
Salt
Hing - 3 tsp
Kadipatta -lots


Mehod

1. Wash and soak each one separately for an hour.

2.  Grind with dry red chilli, green chilli , salt and hing

3.  Add kadipatta cut .  Mix well.

4.  This can be used immediately to make hot adai

5.  Serve with mulgapodi, jaggery, tomato chutney.

Notes
** I can use a variety called parimal rice. Can also use daily rice.

*** Inplace of only toor dal you can use mixed dal...masoor, toor, moong.

****In place of white udit dal you can use bblack udit dal but soak separately for only 20 minutes or else the black covering will start to peel off.
