I know its a different name for a sabzi..We all called it so at my home as it involved lots of tomatoes which is cooked to soupy consistency.
Its very simple to prepare and delicious combination with rice.

Method
1. Roughly cut potatoes into big pieces ( ideally 4s)

3. In a cooker bowl add potatoes, tomatoes, all masalas , salt , sugar and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
4. In a pan add ghee , then mirchi , rai , jeera , hing & lastly Kadipatta. Fry till rai splutters .
5. Add the cooked veggies to the pan and let it boil for some time. ( if excess water is there let it boil for some time. The more it boils it becomes soupy)
