A recipe which will tantalize your taste buds. Learnt this from my dear mom. A great accompaniment with dosas , idli and even ghee rice

Ingredients
Tomato- 5-7
Oil - 3 tbsp (or a little more. Needs to float)
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Asefoetida (hing) - 1/2 tsp
Tumeric powder - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1-2 tsp depending on how spicy you want.
Methi powder - 1 tbsp
Jaggery - 1tbsp
Salt
Method
1) Finely chop the tomatoes and keep ready.
2) In a pan dry roast 2 tsp or 1 tbsp pf methi and powder it and keep ready.
3) In a kadai add oil ,heat it then add mustard seeds , when it splutters add asefoetida , tumeric powder . Let this all fry for a munite .
4) Add in the tomatoes and salt. First bring to a boil and then lower the flame, add jaggery also and cook and mash the tomatoes till oil starts separating from it.
5) Add red chilli powder , mix well.
6) In the end add methi powder and keep on flame till all water evaporates.
7) This can be had with dosa, idli, hot rice with a dollap of ghee..
