Doodhi chana dal ki sabzi

Ingredients

Doodhi - 2 cups
Potato (aloo) - 1 cup
Chana dal - 2 tbsp (presoaked for 15-30 minutes)
Green chillies - 2
Kadipatta - 8-10 leaves
Tumeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Kshatriya masala - 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Sugar - 1 tsp
Coconut scrapped - 2 tbsp
Rai- 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp

Method

1) In a pan add oil, then rai , let it splutter.

2) Then add chana dal (presoaked), green chillies and kadipatta. Fry for a minute ,then add water and cook well.

3) Add doodhi, potato , tumeric powder and salt and let it cook well.

4) Once done add masala, coconut, sugar and mix well.

5) Add coriander leaves and give a good stir.

6) Top with few coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati.
