I loved this sabzi when i had this for the first time my MIL made. My mom also makes this but its a more simpler version.
This is no garlic no onion simple and easy sabzi to be made when very less vegetable is available.
Ingredients
Capsicum - 2 finely chopped
Green chillies - 1 slit lengthwise
Besan - 3 tbsp
Kshatriya masala / Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Jeera powder - 1 tsp
Tumeric powder - 1 tsp
Saunf / badishep powder - 1 tbsp
Salt - as per taste
Sugar - 1tsp
Groundnut powder - 1 tbsp
Kasuri methi - 1 tsp crushed
Kadipatha / Curry leaves - 7/8
Oil for tadka
Coriander leaves for garnish
Method
1) In a pan add oil , heat , then add curry leaves and green chilli. Let this fry for a moment.
2) Add capsicum, fry for a while.
3) Add little water and let this cook for a while.
4) When almost done add besan and fry for 2/3 minutes.
5) Add all other ingredients and mix well. Add a little water, cover and let this cook. Keep checking so that it does not burn.
6) Finally garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati / phulka or ghee rice.
