The idea for this recipe came coz I had a little bit of vella dosai maav in freezer. (Remains of mahashivratri day that just went by). Not wanting to make the same dish again i decided to make a spice mix and some additions. First thought coriander leaves and green chillies should do the trick but I had run out of coriander leaves. So the next option available onion, tomato, green chillies. A mix here of many ingredients landed up in this sweet and spicy dosa which can be just gobbled off the tava.
Ingredients
Vella dosa batter - 2 cups
Wheat flour - 2 cups
Rice flour -1 cup
Fine rava - 2 tbsp
Paste of 1 onion, 1 tomato and 4-5 green chillies.
Salt
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds , jeera
Method

2) In a pan add oil put mustard seeds , jeera and add the paste. Boil till raw smell goes. Takes about 7-8 minutes.
3) In a bowl add the wheat flour, rice flour, rava, salt, pan roasted paste , water as required as form the spicy portion of the batter.
4) Mix both the portions of the batter and let this sit for one hour.
5) Make dosa like you make normal dosa by putting in centre and spreading to the sides.
6) Enjoy with chutney
