I think most of us have learnt cooking from our mom. So I also learnt from my supermom who is called Annapurna in my family. This chutney recipe of hers is so delicious that it makes a sandwich , paratha or anything it is had with more delicious. Ofcourse if had directly may taste little spicy.
Ingredients
Coconut - 1/2 vati
Kothmir - double the quantity of coconut
Kadipatta - 10-15
Mint leaves - 8-10
Spicy green chillies - 8-10
Ginger - 2 inches
Peppercorns - 10-15
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Hing - a big pinch
Sugar - 2-3 tsp
Salt to taste
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Method
1. Put all the above ingredients in a grinder and grind well. Check for taste and adjust.
2. In a pan add oil and put the chutney. Properly fry it.
This helps retain for longer time.
