Is this a Rassa or a sabzi ..which state does it belong to ..I don't know. I'm labelling this as Maharashtrian as most of the ingredients are usually used in most Maharashtrian households. All I know is this super delicious. A few simple ingredients and the dish is ready. A go to dish when you run out of options and sabzi.
Ingredients
Onion -2
Garlic - 3 pods crushed.
Paste of coriander leaves, green chillies, salt - 2 tbsp
Crushed peanuts - 1 tbsp
Goda masala - 2 tsp
Red chillie powder - 1 tsp
Tumeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Jaggery - a little
Tamarind paste - 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1/2tsp
Hing - a pinch.
Water as needed
Method
1) In a pan heat oil add Jeera and hing. Then add the cut onions with garlic and fry till translucent.
2)Add the paste and masalas and fry for a minute.
3) Put water and let it cook for a while.
4) Lastly add crushed peanuts and coriander leaves and switch of the gas.
5) Serve hot.
