Grape juice

A summer special drink packed with lots of nutrients. 

Grape juice is good for the health and it's delicious. Easy to make and store too. Just dilute it with either plain or sparkling water or soda and enjoy. 

This can be made with either one variety or mixed grape varieties. The color will differ depending on the grapes used. 

Ingredients

Grapes.. One kg
Sugar - 100 gms
Salt a tsp

Process. 
1. Wash the grapes well till all the mud and other dirt goes away. Remove from the stem and keep ready. 
2. Use water till it covers the grapes and bring to boil. Let is boil for about 10 minutes till the color of grapes changes and they become mushy. 

3. Let it cool 

4. Put the grapes in a blender and make a fine puree. The water in which it's boiled should be added slowly to the blender. It is better to do this in batches so as to avoid spill overs. 

5. Pass this through a fine sieve to remove all fibre. 

6. Add sugar and salt to the strained juice and heat it up again. Don't need to boil completely. Switch off cool it and bottle the juice. (You can adjust the quantity of sugar and salt as per your taste) 

7. Pour one measure of concentrate to three measures of water. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
